There are two main menus already in this version of TAgents. The System
menu is for controlling the System and the Agent menu is for maintaining the
Agents (as well as the System Agents). The respective menu items are:
- System
-
- Show History
- Opens the history window for the System output.
- Shutdown
- Shuts down the System.
- Agent
-
- New Agent
- Lets the user create a new Agent.
- Send Message
- Lets the user send a message to the selected Agent. This is still
not implemented in this version of TAgents.
- Start
- (Re-) Starts the selected Agent. If the Agent is already started nothing
will be done. The actual status of the Agent can be viewed on the right column
of the window.
- Stop
- Stops the selected Agent.
- Conclude
- Terminates the selected Agent. The Agent will then disappear from
the screen is not accessible anymore. An administrator should be careful with
concluding an admin System Agent, possibly leaving the System without any admin
System Agent. This would mean that it would not be able to administer anymore.
The same is valid for the stop commando.
- Show History
- Shows the history window with the output for the selected Agent.

The output of every Agent and of the System is shown in the history windows.
The history window contains a text field with all the output this Agent has
made while executing in this System. When there are more lines than available
on the screen the text field gets some scrollbars and is so able to contain
all the output. The next images show the main window of the GUIAdmin
and the history windows of a normal Agent, a System Agent and the System itself.
