Standards

There would have been some difficulties when trying to adapt the System to the MASIF standard. First, most of the methods used in the MAFAgentSystem are not available in the platform or for a System Agent. The protocol and structure was not created to be some day conform to this standard.

The MAFFinder would have to be an extra program due to the lack of a good extension mechanism. The main disadvantages of making the MAFFinder a single program are described in on page . The methods to track an Agent are complex and can require a lot of calls over the net when the Agent traveled a lot.
